What happens when two retired rugby players trade the scrum for a padel court? You get Elliott and Adrian—partners in crime, banter, and now, padel adventures!
Elliott, known for his enthusiastic (read: slightly unpredictable) smashes, and Adrian, who has somehow managed to become unreasonably decent at padel, are the dynamic duo behind Padel Tour Spain. Based in the vibrant Sotogrande area, these two bring their love of sport, socializing, and a good laugh to every experience they create.
With deep connections to the local padel scene, they know all the best courts, players, and post-match hangouts. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, Elliott and Adrian will ensure your padel journey is as much about the fun and friendships as it is about the game.

Godo Diaz
Gonzalo "Godo" Díaz Sangiorgio, born on April 28, 1980, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a distinguished professional padel player renowned for his exceptional skill and innovative play on the court. As of 2025, he holds the 50th position in the World Padel Tour (WPT) rankings.
Godo hails from a family deeply rooted in padel; his father, Roberto Díaz, was a coach and professional player, and his brother, Matías Díaz, is also a prominent figure in the sport. This familial connection fostered his early passion and development in padel.
Throughout his career, Godo has achieved significant milestones, including winning three Challenger titles: Valencia and Madrid in 2015, and Lisbon in 2017.
In 2019, he joined Team Siux, partnering with Aris Patiniotis and utilizing the Siux Trilogy Control racket to enhance his performance.
Godo is celebrated for his creativity and technical prowess, exemplified by his development of the "Godinha" shot—a testament to his innovative approach to the game.
Padel World Press Beyond competition, he contributes to the padel community by conducting masterclasses and training sessions, sharing his expertise with aspiring players.
His enduring passion and commitment to padel continue to inspire both fans and fellow players, solidifying his status as a respected figure in the sport.
Carl Maes - Sotogrande Racket Centre
Carl Maes is well known in the international world of tennis as a coach, conference presenter, international consultant, and director for various governing bodies (LTA, Norway, Belgium, Estonia…). He also heads up the Level 3 Performance Coach Program in the US for the PTR ( Professional Tennis Registry). Carl holds a master’s degree in Sport Science and Kinesiology and started his coaching career with the Belgian Tennis
Federation in 1992.
Carl is probably best known for his lifelong involvement with Kim Clijsters, as a coach, but also as Academy Director of the Kim Clijsters Academy from 2014 until it’s closure at the start of the pandemic in 2020. As a coach and/or performance manager, he has worked and travelled with several other top 100 male and female players at junior and at professional level, such as: Elise Mertens, Kimmer Coppejans, Kirsten Flipkens, Johanna Konta, Xavier Malisse, Laura Robson,Yanina Wickmayer and in more recent years Sorana Cirstea, Tamara Zidansek and most recently in 2024 Bianca Andreescu. As Belgium’s Fed Cup captain, he led his team to the 2006 Fed Cup final, narrowly losing to Italy.
Currently Carl lives with his family in the South of Spain in Sotogrande, near Marbella, where he is director of the Sotogrande Racket Center and is operating and travelling as an independent tennis consultant for international players, programs and organizations.
Oliver McDougall - Octogono Tennis & Padel Club
iBorn in 1987 and raised in Sotogrande, Oliver McDougall is a highly regarded British padel player with a deep-rooted connection to the sport. As the son of Ian McDougall, the first-ever World Padel Champion, Oliver grew up immersed in the world of padel. His father's extraordinary achievements and approach to the game profoundly shaped Oliver's early years, instilling in him values of discipline, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Oliver’s dedication to mastering his craft and his comprehensive understanding of the game have earned him a respected place within the padel community. His reputation extends beyond his competitive achievements, highlighting his technical expertise and strategic acumen on the court.
In addition to his career as a player, Oliver has cultivated a passion for coaching and player development. At his club, he works with players of all levels—from beginners to seasoned competitors—offering personalized coaching tailored to their specific needs. His methodology goes beyond the technical and strategic elements of padel, focusing on building a positive mindset, fostering resilience, and instilling a strong work ethic.
Drawing on his personal experience and his father’s legacy, Oliver is committed to nurturing talent across all age groups and skill levels. Whether coaching young players taking their first steps in padel or experienced athletes aiming to elevate their game, Oliver’s approach combines a deep love for the sport with a clear focus on individual growth.

Victor León Labella is a highly skilled 27-year-old professional padel and tennis coach from La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz, Spain.
